A Small Presence

A rose

Strikes a pose

I stop mid-stride

Absorbing the loveliness, bonafide

A small presence

Making a big difference

In the dreary surrounding

Standing as a blessing

Oh beholder, take care

To see benevolences that stare!

A White Rose Again: End of Flower Show, Day 30

Hello readers,

Thank you for looking up the flowers that were on show this month and recording your appreciation with generous likes!

Remember, we opened the Flower Show on June 1 with a white rose? Wouldn’t it be apt to wrap up proceedings with a white rose yet again!?

Note: I should like to turn your notice to the tiny flecks of soil on the petals, from sharp showers the previous night. It makes the flower more real and even more endearing, right? Wow!

White Rose Jun 30

Tomorrow, I plan to place the Flower Show collection under a Menu Item along with my poem on Flower Power.

Flower Show Month

During my recent stay at the Western Ghats, I took so many photographs of flowers that I decided to put them up in a (virtual) Flower Show this month. Mentioned this in a post a few days ago too.

Well, here’s a gorgeous white rose framed in its own green-red leaves to welcome us and get the show going!
